Gayle Mangan Kassal
Is a muralist, Fine artist and Educator. Currently, she is a professional artist and an artist in Residency Educator through Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In the past, she has been a Professor at Anne Arundel Community College, Annapolis, MD, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth & Salve Regina University, Newport, RI.
With cut-paper and cut-metal sculptures, Blake’s artwork focuses on nature and abstraction. Graduated from MICA, Blake has worked and shown his work in the Baltimore area for 35 years.
Is an artist-educator who holds BFA (MICA) and MFA (Towson University) degrees in ceramics and sculpture. She was born and raised in Washington DC where she experienced the excitement and the turmoil that was the 1960s. Her work is three dimensional made in clay, welded steel and cast bronze ranging in height from a few inches to 25 feet. The aesthetic concepts of color, space, and design are integral to the making.
