Barbara Miller is a contemporary artist based in Annapolis, Maryland, known for her vibrant flower portraits inspired by her Chesapeake Bay gardens. Her creative process involves planting, nurturing, harvesting, arranging, photographing, and painting the flowers that surround her, capturing their beauty and joy.

She attended the Maryland Institute of Fine Art and with a background in graphic design, Miller co-founded TSS Software Corporation, where she served as President and COO. After selling the business in 2013, she dedicated herself to painting full-time. Her travels with her husband in their Cirrus SR22 inspired a second passion for painting aircraft portraits, which she views as sculptural forms akin to flowers, each with its own artistic beauty. Her work is exhibited in aviation facilities across the U.S. and held in private collections.
